Admission is free and open to the public.
The Galleries are closed during academic holidays and summer break.

We are located on the second floor of Porter College Academic D Building, above the koi pond, at the University of California Santa Cruz. Porter College is within the northwest area of UCSC’s campus.
Accessibility
For wheelchair access, the elevator in our building is located at the far left side of Porter College Academic D, near the Porter Squiggle. From the second floor, continue through the building past Classroom 250 and take the first exits to the right. Continuing down this hallway will bring you to the entrance of the Sesnon Gallery. There are four handicap parking spots in the closest parking lot to the gallery.
Directions
Driving Directions:
Search Porter College (UCSC) on Maps or Google Maps. Once you reach the entrance of campus on 1156 High Street, drive up Empire Grade (you will pass the UCSC Arboretum on the right) and make a right at the traffic light on Heller Drive (the West campus entrance). Go through two stop signs and make a left after the third stop sign and drive up Porter-Kresge Road: parking lot #124 will be immediately at the top of the hill to your right, and to reach parking lot #125 make a left into the roundabout.
Parking
The closest parking lots to the Gallery are #124 and #125 at Porter College. Additional parking can be found at the #126 Performing Arts lot, off Heller Drive on the right side. Permits are required 7 days a week in campus lots.

Public transportation from downtown Santa Cruz:
From Santa Cruz Metro Center, take bus routes 11, 18, 19, 20 to UCSC campus to Porter/Rachel Carson stop. SC Metro schedules.
Adult (17 and older) bus fare: $2, or show your UCSC student ID.
Follow path to Porter College past the Porter Squiggle. The Sesnon Gallery is located on the second floor of the Porter D Building, above the koi pond and Study Center.

Learning is at the center of all of our gallery activities. The Mary Porter Sesnon Art Gallery is dedicated to supporting UC Santa Cruz academics and community learning beyond our campus.
We are happy to welcome your course, organization, or team on a guided exhibition experience.
Guided Public Tours on Saturdays at 1pm starting in November 2024.
